This walk starts at the very small village of Mt Wilson located off Bells Line of Road in the Upper Blue Mountains. It enters the rather ancient landscape of Wollemi National Park, dropping down to the Wollangambe River, where you can do some canyoning (if that’s your thing). You return the same way, climbing back out of the valley.
We used track notes in A Day in the Bush, and there are also notes on the Bushwalking NSW website.
Wollangambe Track: The Scenery
My photography was so so back in 2015. Nevertheless, I’ve at least been inspired to do this walk again by some of my own (mediocre) photos, and that’s the point of my blog after all!

For some reason I didn’t take a picture of the river, but it’s nice too. We then began the climb out…
