Three Creeks - Martins Lookout Circuit, Blue Mountains

This walk in the Lower Blue Mountains is more attractive than my photos suggest; basically it’s more atmospheric than photogenic. It passes through various forest types and takes in numerous pools and waterfalls. The steep side trip (and mini circuit) to Martins Lookout is worth it, and a good spot for lunch.

Track Notes

The walk starts at Picnic Point Reserve in Springwood, and we used track notes in the guide book A Day in the Bush. Note that the side trip to Martins Falls is only noted on the map, not in the track notes, but this extra bit is straightforward. This link to the Bushwalking NSW website describes the whole walk. There’s another walk you can do in the area that starts at Martins Lookout.
