Southern Tasmania in Portrait

Cape Huay Track, Tasman National Park
Cape Hauy with the totem pole bottom left. Viewed from a point at the end of the walk. I could see ropes connecting the Totem Pole to the mainland.

Collinsvale Peaks Track, Wellington Park
An attractive rock and lichen combination that was common in Tasmania. The dominant rock in this park is dolerite apparently, although I'm not sure if this is.

Mt Anne, Southwest NP
Sophia contemplating the ascent up the summit cliffs of Mt Anne. She eventually decided to let me go alone. You can an arrow which marks the beginning of the ascent centre-bottom.

Tarn Shelf & Lake Webster Track, Mt Field NP
Super tall pandani, next to a more modestly sized Sophia.

Collinsvale Peaks Track, Wellington Park
Looking towards Trestle Mountain from near the top of Collins Bonnet. There appeared to be a way down this gap, but I'm not sure whether there is much of a track once back into the forested areas.

Cape Huay Track, Tasman National Park
Cape Hauy with the totem pole bottom left. Viewed from a point at the end of the walk. There were safety barriers but I still felt a bit dizzy.
