Landscape photography from each of the main regions I’ve walked in, with a few shots of flora and fauna thrown in. All organised into separate galleries of landscape and portrait orientated photos for when you are viewing on your phone or tablet. Just click on the relevant country below. And you can scroll down to have a look at the @hikingscenery Instagram feed.
Shots from the south-eastern corner of Australia, namely NSW, Victoria and Tasmania. Expect pictures of deep valleys, cliffs, forests, waterfalls, dainty wildflowers, iconic animals, and Tasmania’s more mountainous scenery. You can look up the relevant walk (in the search field at the bottom of every page) from the captions on each photo.
Shots from the South Island of New Zealand, mostly within reach on long day trips from Queenstown and Christchurch, but also a few from near Aoraki/Mt Cook. New Zealand’s mountain scenery is justifiably famous, and I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. You can look up the relevant walk (in the search field at the bottom of every page) from the captions on each photo.
Just a few photos from a trip to Korea in 2017, but Seoraksan in particular is an amazing place, and Hallasan is a must-do hike if you visit the Island of Jeju. You can look up the relevant walk (in the search field at the bottom of every page) from the captions on each photo.
I did just the one walk in Japan on that trip, and you can check out those photos here.
