Bundanoon is a quaint village in the Southern Highlands near to a number of good walks in Morton National Park. One day we stopped on our way back to Sydney from Canberra and did a couple of very short walks. These included the Fern Glen walk, and then the Amphitheatre Track plus a five minute section of Nicholas Pass to an area of clefts and waterfalls. We also took in a few lookouts, including Grand Canyon Lookout (at the start of the Fern Glen walk), and possibly Sunshine Lookout and Tooths Lookout (although I forget).
Track notes at the end. There are other options but these photos will give you a taste of the area. There is a longer but still relatively easy walk to good viewpoints at the narrow end of Bundanoon Gorge. At the complete other end of the walking spectrum, this walk to Bundanoon Lost Lookouts is an advanced route requiring navigation and bush bashing (in case that is what you are really after.)
Bundanoon Short Walks: The Scenery

Track Notes

There a few options in the area for short walks and views straight out of your car. We did the very short Fern Glen Track, and got views from the start at Grand Canyon Lookout. We took our car to a couple more lookouts, possible Sunshine and Tooths Lookouts, although I forget.
We then drove to the start of the Amphitheatre Track and walked maybe five minutes further on Nicholas Pass to a nice area of clefts and waterfalls.
