Bombala Walking Track, Glenrock State Conservation Area

The Bombala Walking Track is a very short walk through distinctive and beautiful forest to a beach and rock platforms in Dudley, south of Newcastle. The coast is undeveloped in this area so you can enjoy a wild feeling down there.

You can exit via a fire trail and return to the start through suburbia, or return the way you came. Track notes at the end.

The Bombala Walking Track starts at the end of Bombala St. It’s short and downhill, so you’ll soon hit the coast. You can return via the Banksia St Fire trail as we did, and walk through suburbia to make a circuit.

The walk starts at the end of Bombala St in the Newcastle suburb of Dudley. It’s short and downhill so you’ll soon be on the beach. We returned by the Banksia Street Fire Trail. From there you could complete a circuit through suburbia, although we returned to my friend’s home, which was nearby.
